Longevity: The C1 base layer provides durable protection and excellent gloss retention, with a manufacturer claim of 3 to 5 years. When topped with the EXOv5, real-world durability is typically 2-3 years on a daily driven car in harsh conditions.
Aesthetics: The combination is known for producing an "unbelievable gloss" and a deep, "liquid glass look" or "candy apple shine" that intensifies the color of the paint.
Hydrophobicity: The EXOv5 acts as Gtechniq's ultimate hydrophobic top coat, creating a "lotus leaf effect" with a high contact angle (around 110 degrees) that repels dirt and water effectively. This makes the vehicle much easier to clean and maintain.
